Stella Goodey is a classically trained musician and a naturally gifted singer. She specialised in singing traditional jazz , early classic blues and is the best exponent of Billie Holiday in the country. Stella's voice is very powerful and is reminiscent of the classic blues artists and has been linked to Bessie Smith, Dinah Washington and Janis Joplin. Despite the strength in Stella's voice, it can also emulate the sweet vulnerability and expression of the greatest Jazz Singer, Billie Holiday.

Stella has recorded 4 albums , writes , and has worked in jazz clubs, theatres, private functions and festivals in both the UK and France over the last 18 years.
